Voice4You has been awarded funding from the Swedish Institute for the project Preparation for Empowering Young Voices of Ukraine (PreYoU). The project will explore opportunities to use the Mobile Stories Newsroom tool and lay the groundwork for long-term collaboration between Sweden and Ukraine, focusing on young people’s media and information literacy, storytelling, source credibility, and digital citizenship.

The aim is to strengthen young people’s resilience to disinformation and contribute to safeguarding democratic values at a time when the Ukrainian media landscape faces significant challenges.

Collaboration with Kunsht
In the project, Voice4You is collaborating with the Ukrainian organization Kunsht, which works with science communication, critical thinking, and storytelling to inspire young people’s civic engagement. Together, we will map needs, identify obstacles, and develop methods for how Swedish and Ukrainian actors can best support young people in Ukraine.

Project period
PreYoU runs from 1 December 2025 to 1 December 2026.

Why the project is important
The Swedish Institute supports collaborations between Swedish and Ukrainian actors that contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction, EU integration, and increased democratic resilience. Through PreYoU, Voice4You and Kunsht aim to provide new knowledge and long-term solutions to strengthen young people’s ability to navigate today’s complex information environment.
