ENTR Next Generation

News, opinions, influencers, AI-generated content and disinformation meet in the same feeds. How do young people learn to tell the trustworthy from the misleading, and to create content that others can trust themselves?

About ENTR

ENTR is a European social media project for young people that has existed since 2021. Through journalism on social media, ENTR has created dialogue and engagement among young Europeans in different countries.

ENTR Next Generation (ENTR-NG) builds on that work. The EU project aims to strengthen young people’s resilience to disinformation and adds new elements on media and information literacy and collaboration with creators and influencers. The project targets young people aged 15 to 30 and produces content in 16 languages for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Journalists, experts in media and information literacy, researchers and creators work together, and young people take part themselves through workshops.

Voice4You’s role

Voice4You is the Swedish partner in the project. We contribute the methods from Mobile Stories Newsroom, where young people get to try out journalistic ways of working: from idea and research to interviews, source verification and publishing. Within ENTR-NG, we strengthen young news creators in journalistic methods and press ethics, and develop ways of working that can be used in new countries and contexts.

“When young people get to investigate, interview, fact-check and publish themselves, questions about sources, credibility and press ethics become concrete. We want to bring that experience into a European context.” Jenny Sköld

co-founder of Voice4You and Mobile Stories

About the project

ENTR-NG is funded by the European Commission and runs from September 2026 to February 2028. It is led by Deutsche Welle together with France Médias Monde, and a total of 13 organisations from ten EU countries take part.
